As a Front-End Developer your primary role will be building web applications working in a team environment with other developers. You will be working with a custom WordPress framework designed for modern web applications and build pipelines.
Duties
- Build new applications
- Develop new reusable packages and libraries
- Work together with back-end team
- Commit to personal growth
Requirements and Qualifications
- Expert understanding of modern JavaScript/CSS framework(s), e.g. React, Tailwind CSS
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on team success
- Proficient in mobile-first, cross-browser, cross-platform testing and debugging
- Strong sense of design and an eye for the little things
Bonus skills
- UI/UX best practices
- CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab)
- Design skills, proficiency with Adobe CC, Figma, or Sketch
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility and SEO best practices
- Experience developing WordPress themes and plugins
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, e.g. Webpack, NPM/Yarn
Experience
- Completed degree in related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience developing web-based applications
